unexpected return of Initialoetry
You take the first letter of each word in the poem, and written down in order of appearance they spell the title and subject of the poem.
It’s back, and here are my efforts…
Coming happiness!
Abandoning naughty ‘Greenwich’
Exciting times hence
Everyone cheer!
Lashings of cold-killing Spring
(I haven’t done this for a while, remember, so please don’t expect Seamus Heaney.)
I need dioralyte in gallons everyone.
Stomach tightness is ostracising niceness.
And one more for luck…
Finally… rest. I’m dancing again. Yo!
Thus opens my orifice,
readily receiving old whiskey
