I’m really disappointed that I missed a day of blogging this week. My first day this month without posting. I actually thought of it at about quarter past midnight. I was laying in bed and my eyes popped open and I thought “Ah, shit.” I did consider getting up and typing something quickly but then I thought “It won’t count. The date on the website will clearly show FRIDAY instead of THURSDAY so technically speaking I’d have already gone a complete day on the calendar without posting something.” I know it’s not hugely significant in the grand scheme of things, but things like that feel important to me and I was exciting by the possibility of achieving a long-held ambition to write 31 times in 31 consecutive days, all within a calendar month.
Never mind, I guess. Just another crushing blow to my already fragile mental state…. I’ll find a way to cope, no doubt.
