How many times in the past two months have I heard the phrases 'cost of living crisis' and 'fuel poverty'? And how many people have I met yet who have genuinely been affected?
I drove home last night and there was scaremongering about schools not being able to open in January due to heating costs. We've had the best Summer in years and most people have spent it worrying about what might happen in Winter, because that's what they've been conditioned to do.
It's so sad.
The media in this country should be torn up and started all over again.
