Soon it’s my birthday
Suddenly I’m twenty-nine
But feeling older!
Birthdays should be fun
A day set apart from life
To celebrate you!
Next year I’m THIRTY!
So this is my last year as
A twenty-something
Age is just numbers;
An irrelevant digit
With no real meaning
My birthday haiku
Is coming to an end now
Time for a nice drink..
