What a lovely day it’s been. A lovely few days, if
I’m honest. Lots of birthday cheer, and an enjoyable time had without going
ridiculously over-the-top. Memories made, rather than memory cells wiped. Enjoying
what was happening, rather than striving to make something different happen. Ignoring
the old impulse to ‘make it larger than last year’ and just getting on with
things that I like.
Man, have I ever sounded more middle-aged?
