Equinox paradox

Can’t believe it’s officially Spring. Yesterday had such a biting wind that I had to nip back home to get a jumper at lunchtime. We had that awful British blanket-of-grey cloud cover all day and every so often rain showers would batter the windows. I know it’s brighter today, but it’s still only 8 degrees Celsius according to my office thermometer thing. Any chance of an early Summer heat wave, oh mighty Gods of the weather????
By the way - I know it’s too late now, but wouldn’t “A Biting Wind” have been a good name for our band?
