Just when you thought you were safe for another year..

I had to work yesterday morning and some twat in a Volvo Estate was still trying to pull an April Fools joke. “Honestly mate I just put diesel in my petrol engine - quick, call someone to help!”
I just smiled a tired smile and said “I’ve got a screen in front of me that shows your Volvo parked at Pump 7, where £57 worth of petrol has just been pumped. Maybe you should have tried this trick back in April 1970, when they didn’t have CCTV or computers.”
He may have called me a c**t under his breath…
