It just seems weird, doesn't it?
King Charles III is our monarch. We have a male head of state. Money will change, as will the lyrics to our national anthem. The Christmas Day Royal Speech will be delivered by a different voice. For the first time in the lifetime of most living Britons, we are not in the reign of Queen Elizabeth the Second.
I'm not affected by her death directly, or personally, and yet it feels like the world has shifted for all of us; somehow, someway.
